This is a surface model of an area that contains both flat and rugged terrain. The QT Modeler has colored the terrain by altitude. In order to assess the steepness in the entire model, the QT Modeler provides a tool that colors the terrain by a user settable slope value. This can be very useful in petroleum exploration, helicopter landing zone assessment, and in geology.
